![]() With a few minor tweaks, it could become even better and attract an even wider audience. Overall, I had a blast playing AtomicHeart and I think it's a game that all fans of first-person shooters should check out. I wanted something that reminded me of STALKER and the mod helped with that. Although Armageddon was advertised to have less loot, but honestly I had too much without the mod installed. I felt that provided a more grounded experience where I actually had to craft items rather than just loot or enemy drops. I also played it on Armageddon, but also got a mod to reduce all ammo drops by half an hour after exiting the first facility. I believe that making these changes would also improve the voice acting and dialogue, giving the game an even better, darker tone. Also, while I understand that the developers wanted to add a humorous element to the game, I think toning down some of the more silly aspects, like the idle robots in strange positions, would create a darker and more realistic atmosphere that better suits the game's story. Some things I'd like to see in future versions of AtomicHeart is new settings, like space or an underwater facility, to keep the game feeling fresh. The Xbox Series S players couldn’t enjoy Atomic Heart as it went off to a bad start, with many issues appearing right after the launch. I understand some people prefer post-game content but the way it ended was enough for a single player for me, and it didn't need anything else after the ending (in my opinion). It turns out that Atomic Heart is off to a bad start with performance issues on Xbox Series S and the Game Pass bug. It is missing a bit of the AAA touch but that did not bother me too much, the game was enjoyable. A better waypoint system or tagging things in the map would have been better, and at least an obvious map line to know where we can and not go just by looking at the map. Or have a skill that absorbs all loot when you enter a room by activating a magnet like sphere from your hands or something. The looting system is nice but I wish you did not need to hold F to loot, makes it fast and more convenient. The idea of underground facilities with puzzles and weapon upgrades is nice, really liked that. What really stood out to me was how the game takes place on an alternate version of Earth, and it reminded me of Bioshock, which is one of my favorite games (but at ground level instead of underwater). The game has everything I could ask for: fast-paced action, beautiful artwork, and creatively designed enemies. Got the game on gamepass but if it wasn't there, i'd be happy to buy it (although gamepass allowed me to try it out risk-free as I had no idea what the game was about) I'm a lurker but created this account as a token of appreciation to the devs, well deserved. I absolutely loved playing AtomicHeart! 8/10 for me.
